Veterinary Surgeon, Full Time, New Graduates Welcome
As a newly graduated veterinary surgeon, you’ll have imagined your first job in a modern and well-equipped independent small animal Practice, where you’ll be supported by highly experienced and highly regarded colleagues. Somewhere your Day 1 skills are developed by an industry-leading New Graduate programme and where you feel valued and nurtured as an important member of a team delivering the highest quality 24-hour care to sick animals.
You may have imagined that Practice to be in a beautiful part of the world, where the standard of living is high, but the cost of living is relatively low. A place where you can enjoy the great outdoors and nature is right on your doorstep, a pretty, small town with pet owners who trust and rely upon you to give the very best of care to their animals.
Well, the good news is these things don’t have to be a dream, because Scott Mitchell Veterinary Care in Hexham, Northumberland is looking for a newly qualified veterinary surgeon to help us meet the needs of our thriving Practice.
You’ll love the family and community feel of our practice, which has been serving the community for more than 20 years, and our dedication to the people and pets here, which shines through in everything we do. You’ll appreciate our team of 42 staff, including vets, RVNs, SVNs and Nursing Assistants, ably supported by our superb reception and admin team. You’ll also be happy that we run nurse clinics alongside our consults and theatre and that we provide round the clock nursing care for our inpatients and emergencies.
We’ll love your enthusiasm, passion, drive, and ability to work well with a team. We’ll appreciate your thirst for more knowledge and your eagerness to get stuck in. We’ll also be happy if you want to get involved in our training company, CPD Actif, which delivers CPD and winter sports in the French Alps.
